At our American Women's Club Newcomers' coffee* this morning, we were collecting bras.

I know, a bit of an odd thing to pass on to a stranger but hey, why not. It's all for a good cause (of course) Free the Girls helps women who've been rescued from human trafficking to make a better life for themselves. We collected 90 unwanted bras, not bad for a morning's socialising!

In other news the teen rang while I was busy drinking coffee, he'd got home from school and found the mat next to the back door covered in regurgitated dog breakfast. What should he do he asked. So I gave him precise instructions as to how to clean up such a mess, all I had to do when I got home was put the mat in the washing machine.

* or 'your coffee thingy' as my kids called it.
