Five Rise

I passed through Bingley Five Rise locks area today and it was like a Bank Holiday - very crowded with numerous sightseers and many boats moored up. The lock keepers were feeling the strain of constant work on the paddles and here one of them relaxes for a minute while the lock fills. (The hordes of people were at the top!)

I walked 6k today, it might not seem far but given the state of my spine I took it as a miracle. A very slow one! Increasingly free & fearless movement makes for a great day.
