Looking back to town.

Today I wandered out onto the long jetty jutting out into the south sound. It was lunch time and after a rainy morning the sun came out and very warm. This summer is really holding on, keeping autumn back as the warm days continue.
I took the photo looking back from the far end of the jetty. You can see the swimming pool looking out over the sound, and the cathedral, in the centre of town.
Otherwise I spent the day in my cave-like office, far from all natural light.
