September Morn.

I went to the gym early and had a good chat to Roger ,as i hadn't seen him for a while. The Man Van was gone from the car park. I then walked into the fields and past the tennis club and saw a grey squirrel, but he didn't hang around. A bit further on, the sunlight was filtering through the trees and and it was shining on this leaf making it look like it was under the spotlight. This leaf is at the end of it's cycle but the young green shoot contrasts the old and the new. You really must view this LARGE. As i walked through the canopy of trees quite a few leaves were falling to the ground. It was magical. I went into town, did my shopping, and then came home on the bus. This afternoon we went to Tescos to get all the ingredients to make tomato chutney. The wine was 25% off so we bought six bottles. Today is our wedding anniversary ,so we are having a moussaka ,with Spanish potatoes, and for dessert we are having toffee and honeycomb tray bake, washed down with a Rioja.
