Pea and mint soup

Recently I had a cold pea and mint soup in a restaurant and it was so delicious I have been thinking about it ever since. So today I decided to make my own version - I chose a Mary Berry recipe and it is so easy and so delicious, I think it could even be better than the one I had in the restaurant. It can be eaten hot or cold but I ate it hot. It has just the right amount of sweetness in it from the mint and the secret ingredient, which is mint jelly. I love the colours of a pea soup in a white bowl, it instantly looks as if it is from a posh restaurant.

Another wonderful sunny day, and I am still wearing my summer clothing, isn't that great for this time of year?
