The lighthouse and the dog walker

Took a drive over to New Brighton today to find this lighthouse and the sea fort that it sits behind. Got there after a minor navigation malfunction that saw us in New Brighton in North Wales instead of the one by Wallasey. Which idiot thought it was a good idea to have two towns with the same name within a few miles of each other.

Now it's time to tend to the shoulder of lamb that we popped in the slow cooker before we headed out. The smell that greeted us when we got back home was exquisite ... I can't wait to put my nose bag on.
