All the fun of the fair(?)

Today was the day of the annual Urmston Carnival.
There was a parade which ends on the field opposite our house where there is also a fair.
Jeff and I spent most of the day painting fences and trellis and decking in the back garden.
Sean could not find a parking space when he got home from work due to all the carnival activity. He decided to take the car down the back alley but managed to rip the front bumper off in the process!
It is now fixed back on but with the use of cable ties so it is a temporary fix.
Oh Joy.
There was some swearing and much grumpiness :-(
