Emotive day

Today has been a great work day, the culmination of years if hard work. Today was the professionals chance to look around the new hospice in a hospital that we have developed with St Barnabus, ULHT and our CCG.
From next Monday people will have fantastic care in a beautiful building and really will have a quality end of life experience. It's the first of it's kind in the UK as it's within an acute hospital.

It is a fabulous unit, excellent staff and a real asset.

Always an emotive topic but just look at this lovely room that has a garden and is superb, this is what you want for your family:) #nhs
