Cycle day

Another day exploring Ferrarara, this time by bike. We'd stayed the night with some of Franci's friends and they were lovely, extra lovely to lend us their bikes for the day. We rode around the walls of the city and had lunch by a river. Here I saw a heron, and got my first opportunity to take a good bird photo this holiday through my zoom lens (as it was being very well behaved and standing still), at this point though my camera ran out of battery, and I had idiotically forgot to bring a plug adaptor... so that was it for photos!
