On the Edge
One of the things that I have noticed since my surgery in March is the fact that my decision making capability has been impaired. I either struggle to make simple decisions or make bad ones.
Today I ventured to the local May Day Fair with the children and, having bought some hot dogs/burgers for lunch, we found a little quiet spot at the edge of the field to sit and eat. Very quickly, I became irritated by people invading our personal space by walking too close for my liking. I soon realised however that the “quiet spot” that I had identified was indeed at the edge of the part of the field where the food stall was located but was actually the main route between that section and the car boot sale further along.
In effect, it was like setting out a picnic in the middle lane of a motorway.
