Industrial Heritage
Mary Tavy once had the largest Copper mine in Europe, remnants of it's mining and industrial heritage can be seen clustered around the landscape.
Copper, Tin and Arsenic were mined extensively.
Little known was the fact that the raw materials for mints were also mined. Here we see one of the ancient machines that our forebears used to turn this raw material in to Polo mints.
