Physics carpet

Work is feeling normal again, despite no lab activities yet. Traffic is ridiculous, which is most annoying as I am stuck with the bus at the moment. People were photographing it on campus today when I left; maybe it'll be someone else's blip.

Just read a blog post by someone I don't know about something I didn't attend - but I'm fuming anyway. It seems to me that some people just like to be angry and rant and be negative and be victims. Always interpret things as offensive, find fault everywhere, and in this case possibly deliberately misinterpret something to add fuel to a fire when it's a nice sunny day and we don't need any additional heating. Sometimes it's one big competition to be the person with the least privilege.

I suppose if you go looking for hostility you'll probably find it.
