The World in B&W

Last Tuesday we were sent out with a camera and told to shoot a roll of black and white film. Today we made contact prints from the negatives in the darkroom. I think this might be my favourite part of the course. It's so magical to see the photos appearing on the paper as though by magic! My photos are in the row running down from the top left corner of this picture - fire escapes, an old greenhouse, rows of trees and lichen on a trunk. Next Tuesday, we will be making large prints from these small ones.
