Traveling Bags

These two bags lead nomadic lives. They are the first ones I grab when it's time to take a trip. The colourful striped basket on the right is known as "The Boston Bag" and, as its name implies, it totes stuff back and forth between our home in Connecticut and our apartment in Boston. The straw bag on the left has jetted off to all sorts of places like India, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Florida, Italy, and the Caribbean. It's big enough to serve as a carry on bag, but small enough to use as a handbag once we've arrived at our destination. In a few weeks, it will head off on another adventure -- cruising from Miami through the Panama Canal, up the coast of Central America, over to Hawaii, and on to Tahiti!
