JJ played golf this morning and it was such a beautiful morning I decided to extend one of my walks and follow the ridge which separates us from other parts of north Bedfordshire. From the top I can see for miles around but it is rarely clear enough to be worth taking photographs, with my camera anyway.

This view looks down to where I live, which is somewhere behind the three right-hand poplars. As you can see, we are in a hollow, which protects us from strong winds but doesn't help much with sunrise or sunset shots.
