Bradgate Park in the Mist

Another misty morning. Jumped out of bed and sped off with Basil to the hill at Old John just after 7 am, hoping to catch some misty landscapes.

Bundled cameras, tripod and nd filters into car. Not happy with results. Looks so much better real than on screen.

And besides, I should have got there rather earlier to catch the sun just above the clouds. Couldn't be sure if I would have seen that anyway, since the mist was thicker north of Beacon Hill on the forest than south of it where this was taken.
