Day in Devon

Decided yesterday to hire a car for Devon. So once I landed I headed for the rental desk and got myself a rather nice and fast(ish) diesel Passat. Interesting as it was auto with some trick DSG gearbox thing. It was fun.

Made it to my parents a little later than expected, but it gave me the whole of today in Devon with my parents which was nice.

Wanted to see Hope Cove, our old family haunt which I haven't been to for a couple of years.

The weather was glorious. Unlike the last two months. Blue skies, high temps (for the UK), beach was practically empty. Lovely.
