Scottish Half Marathon finishers

Unfortunately, this race was somewhat overshadowed by the Great Northern Run the following day with its superstar winner, famous sponsored runners and a flypast by the Red Arrows. On the plus side the weather was perfect for a run and I managed to post a time I was happy with, without feeling too crippled to walk afterwards.

The two gentlemen on either side of me accompanied me to the starting line. I had planned to also get a lift home from them but the traffic from the finishing venue was truly awful. So I deserted them and took a bus instead.

Now to decide whether to do next year's Edinburgh marathon!
