Big School

The kids finally went back to school today. They seemed quite happy. I could have managed another 2 weeks of them at home I reckon.

Anyway, my boy survived and I now have enough hands to go round on the primary school run ;-)

Sadly the shine was taken off the day as my old cat Bert had to be put to sleep.

Shortly after taking this photo, Bert appeared round the corner not bearing weight on one of his back legs. The vet was initially optimistic but the X ray showed his leg to be very badly broken. Due to his old age, we agreed that surgery to either rebuild and pin his leg or amputate would not be in his best interests.
