Autumnal glow and ready steady go...

An early morning walk around the park meant I caught the rising sun on this tree. It emphasised the colour of the changing leaves. Just the thing to set one up for the day, especially when I was running workshops indoors all day!!

Today marked the start of our much anticipated participation in the Aspire Channel swim 2014. We got ready after work and rushed down to the pool only to be told that the timetable changed last week and the pool was closed for lessons this evening!!! Horror, we were all psyched up and nowhere to swim. The staff must have felt sorry for us and allowed us into the baby pool to make a start on our 22 mile adventure. It wasn't ideal but we made a start. Let's hope we have better luck tomorrow!
