Monomonday : sky

The theme for this weeks monomonday is sky, thanks again to westcoastBob for organising!

Took my first attempt this morning but the sky was flat and mono did nothing for it, then I managed to capture a solitary plane, but again the sky looked bland, grey and depressing.
By this afternoon the sun was shining and I was once again stood outside the local children's hospital, having escorted one of our patients for the more specialized care they needed. Outside the hospital there are coloured pillars made to look like pencils I used these to diffuse the sun enabling me to take a picture showing it's intensity, a dark filter then made for a more dramatic image.
