Mono Monday ~ Skies

Morning, noon and night.

It has been a glorious day, that maybe can't be appreciated in mono. I took my first blip on the way to work with the sun shining brightly and just a little nip in the air. Popped out into the playground for my noon shot. The last was dusk just falling, the sky changing different shades of blue with splashes of pink.

Coming home from work, I was sitting on the sofa, windows open, French doors open when there was this almighty explosion which even shook the sofa. S*** what was that???.... It was a while before we found out any news but, according to a local newspaper website, there was a controlled explosion on the common after a suspicious package was found in the local area. Scary!!!!
