Autumnal Robin - Forest Farm
The walk off the pounds regime continued this afternoon.
Mum and dad rung to say they were going down to Forest Farm for a walk. We decided to join them.
I have to be honest it was probably the quietest hour or so's birding I have done anywhere, let alone Forest Farm. Yes, I saw a nice Song Thrush, and some Long Tail Tits flitting in the tree tops, but other than the mandatory Mallard on a log in the canal, it was very, very quiet.
Luckily I got this rather nice Robin shot right at the start of the walk or else I was struggling for a blip! It was still a lovely hour out walking the last few remnants of summer warmth.
