Cottage by Newby Bridge Weir.

We took Lynsey into Barrow in Furness so she could get some retail therapy with Melanie. I was on wheelchair duty and being close by in case Lynsey slipped or fell when she decided to use her crutches.

After emptying their purses, Lynsey took us out to lunch at the Swan Hotel at Newby Bridge which was very nice indeed.

This is a cottage by the weir just a little way down form the hotel.
Looks nice in Large as you can see the movement of the water over the weir.

When we returned to her home, Lynsey settled down to have a rest.

All in all a very nice day indeed.
