The Last Horse

Over the years I have owned many horses and in my younger days horses were my absolute passion. Our children all learned to ride at an early age and we all attended pony club and local hunts as well as competing in dressage tournaments and One Day Events.

Nowadays, there is only one horse left in the barn. His name is Bluey and he was probably the first horse the kids experienced riding. He is made of wood, has two wheels at the back and is painted blue.

Normally, these days he hangs on the barn wall waiting for a child to visit but tonight I noticed he had fallen down onto some hay bales.

Perhaps he was hungry. Enjoy your feed, Bluey!
