Great ride this morning. Such a gorgeous sunny day. I have been spoiled for rides this weekend but Lime hasn't had much TLC lately so it was important to spend some quality time with him. Did feel guilty that Mr EG didn't get out on his bike though and always torn between wanting to spend the day with him Toby and Eva and spending time with Lime. We did a bit of blackberrying on the way home. Lime really likes blackberry's but not the prickly bushes so I had to lean down and get them for him.

We popped up to the allotment after lunch for an hour to try and get a few weeds cleared. The redcurrant bushes we planted have been eaten bare by something. So disheartening when we put all that effort in to clear the ground and grow something and then it just doesn't happen.
