Haboob

A haboob is a type of intense dust storm. Haboobs occur regularly in arid regions throughout the world including Arizona.
We were out walking when my cell phone gave a storm alert- we didn't get caught in it this time. As you can see in the photo, it wasn't very big where we were but I heard that it was severe in certain areas.
Tonight a strong wave of moisture from Hurricane Norbert is expected to push its way into Arizona - heavy rain.
Fingers crossed that cooler temps linger.
