Pastime in good company
I spent the morning in the Art studio, with the other Art teachers, to meet and greet the new residential students on their tour of the school followed by an afternoon spent at home emptying boxes. Some contents had me in tears about Dad, some of his things that he leaves here and other paraphernalia that just triggered great sadness which continued into the evening when I went downstairs into the garden to join in the new year welcome barbecue hosted by a neighbour who really knows how to throw a good "do" - it was well attended - today's photo only shows a few of the folk who were there - I eventually shrugged off my melancholy and had a very nice evening in convivial company.
