Sunday: A New Role

We had a moderately quiet day, culminating in having the Hermanas over for a traditional Sunday dinner this evening. I think that Christian is still fascinated by Yorkshire Puddings.

They are expecting their first child in November, and the highlight of the evening was when they asked us to be godparents. Naturally, we are absolutely delighted and honoured! We already have a godson and take those responsibilities seriously but we are not underestimating the importance of being godparents to a child from a Spanish-Chilean family, given how important the role is in those cultures.
