This one's for my mum!

Well, what a day it's been. My daughter Ellie (The Cumbria Kid) and I headed to Loweswater Show and what a beautiful day it was. Everything was going well and lots of photo's were being taken, until the point at which I had a funny turn, went really dizzy and was sick. I ended up in the back of a St John Ambulance ambulance and was advised to go to A&E as my blood pressure was very high.

Ellie was a star and looked after me brilliantly, driving me to hospital and not managing to get any lunch.

Anyway, after further blood pressure checks - still a little high, an ECG and blood sugar check, I was told it could have been a combination of things, low blood sugar, dehydration, too much sun or being run down. In other words no clear reason, but thankfully nothing serious. Just need to have my blood pressure checked again in about a week.

So, the blip. When I was young my mums first car was a Morris Minor estate like this one, only white and she called her Mary. I thought she would like this, so this one's dedicated to my lovely mum. Love you xxx

Early night now as I've been told I have to be better for tomorrow as it's Ellie's 18th birthday.
