Fasque, 2014

We first visited Fasque - the former seat of the Gladstone family - in September 2010, when it was open under the Scottish Civic Trust's Doors Open Day scheme.

Fasque was then on the point of being rescued from near-ruin.

Today we visited it again as the grounds (and well as some of the ground floor rooms of the house) were open as part of the Scotland's Gardens scheme. Almost four years on from our previous visit, the place seems totally transformed.
