Eriskay Ponies

I visited the Holy Isle yesterday and was lucky enough to get up close to some beautiful and wild (they live without any sort of human intervention) Eriskay ponies. It was a small herd of four - one stallion, two mares and a very inquisitive youngster. I can't begin to tell you how magical it was and it was a half hour of my life I will remember for quite a long time. You can read more about these beautiful animals here.
