Earlier there was a quick bike ride in the sunshine and there have been three dog walks and a roast chicken dinner.

Managed to catch the end of the Tour of Britain opening leg and Liverpool looked at its best in the sunshine, time now to settle down and watch Scotland play the world champions (gulp). Mrs S is round at her Mum's who is struggling with a dodgy knee and they are waiting for the doctor to visit, there may be a trip to the hospital so I'm keeping the phone close by.
