Moving House
We arrived at the hut on Dartmoor late at night and were awoken early in the morning by the chattering of massed ranks of house martins and swallows, gathering on the wires and the nearby trees in anticipation of their departure. A highlight on the day's walk was about a dozen red admiral butterflies feeding on Hemp Agrimony. They reminded me of my childhood. I should say that plant identification was helped by the fact that it figured in a recent crossword.
