Legal Tender

Our bank notes are now plastic and apparently melt if accidentally left on the dash of the car on a hot day or left in a garment pocket that's gone through the wash and put in the dryer. I'm not going to experiment to see if this is an urban legend or the truth. Fortunately our coins aren't plastic - yet.
I can't get used to the feel of them, and they don't fold properly to go in my wallet!
This will be my entry for the WBC theme of Tender.
