Apologies I haven't been on here in a while! It's been so hectic over the last few weeks/months. I have been on a stag do, struggled with academic assignments, moved out of my house in the UK, got hitched and have now arrived in Abu Dhabi, my new home.

Today, we returned from a short break in Dubai. You couldn't quite get as close to the Burj Khalifa as you wished. Plenty of work and activity taking place around the base of the building. I understand the fitting out within the vast structure has only really just begun. Yeah, it's the tallest building in the world. But it aint quite finished yet.

Still, an astonishingly impressive building to stand beneath.
