Fossil Grove

I dropped Joe at his rugby game and thought I'd grab a shot of the fossilised trees in Victoria Park.

Unfortunately the pavilion that houses the 300+ million year old tree stumps was closed so I took a few photos anyway.

I like this one - it almost looks oriental to me - the sunken garden & the pavilion - almost like a pagoda in the background.
