Seeking shade

Today was grandson Gage's 12th birthday. With the parents out of town, we were in charge of making it special. He had a soccer "jamboree", meaning two games in one day. The temperature was in mid thirties C (95F). While waiting for the second game to start, we were seeking shelter in the shade of this tree which Jax and Jett found easy to climb. Gage's team won the games. Later we had apple pie and ice cream at home and dinner with the cousins.
