Full Moon Rising
Thought this is the anniversary of my late wife Siobhán it has not been a sad day though it started that way when my son came into my bedroom at 7am hugged me, kissed me and headed out to work. He is a grown man but has no fear of his emotions thanks to his mother's guiding hand. His own son, aged ten was brought to a medium later today in Kilkenny to help him deal with his daily encounters with his spirit gran who watches over him. I hope to get the full details tomorrow. My own daughter dealt with her guardians in a more relaxed way and never feared their presence.
This morning was well spent with my daughter hoeing the flower beds on Siobhan's grave while digging though the nuances of a shifting life story. We can be a fiery pair together but today we bathed in the well of a mutual understanding that binds us tightly together. I had lunch with a good friend of my wife and we chatted about things that might have been, lost moments and the future and I felt better for it as I know she did.
Tonight as I sifted through the nuances of my many encounters today to ensure I had understood well the great good in my family and friends I looked at the moon break over Lambay island and to be it was a perfect sign. I see an "S" with a serpent's head (and all without photoshop!!).
My understanding of the dragon is of a very wise creature who guards well the things he/she loves....as she now watches over her children and grandchildren..... and she has done well thus far. I also see a sign that she is happy it's time to move on and try to rebuild a legacy I can be proud of.....just saying
