Bogies and lurgies
The bogies (wheels) of the train had to be changed on the Russia / China border due to different sized tracks being used in each country. We were all booted off the train while this happened. This shunted engine pushed the carriages in and out of the shed. I had lurgies and was suffering from a high temperature and shivers, this was a long and painful day. It took us from 2pm arriving at the Russian frontier until 12.30am the next day to leave the Chinese frontier. No Blip for the following day as I collapsed in bed and fought off my lurgies.
