Harvest

Yesterday I mentioned that I visited friends and they kindly shared some of their raspberries, plums and beans from their garden. I very much enjoyed the raspberries on my cereal this morning, and I have a few left which will probably go onto some ice-cream tomorrow!

These are Victoria plums. My friends yesterday served me a delicious plum cake (Nigella Lawson recipe) made with the fruit from the same tree. I'm tempted to do the same with these. The runner beans will be served with my Sunday lunch tomorrow.
