" WHAT A DAY IT HAS BEEN "

It has been a very long day and we have travelled over 260 miles to attend the Alresford Show. Because we used to live there we know quite a few people and arrange to meet all our old friends if we can. Sadly didn't get to see my sister as she was busy.

Thoroughly enjoyed a superb lunch in the Members Tent with our ex neighbours who also want to move down to Cornwall. We were looking for some new wellies as mine have split but sadly there was only one stand selling them and my size being popular had already been sold.

For the first time there was a Jaguar Stand and it was great to sit in the new F type, a mere £90,000 plus. I wont be parting with my 'beast' in part exchange, well not yet anyway.

Mr A was delighted to see three County Tractors on display in pristine condition. We left the show at 18.30 and took the large sun blip through the windscreen of the car as we travelled back. It was very precarious and road signs, trees etc. kept getting in the way. Just when I thought I would get a good shot, it went behind the clouds and didn't re-appear.

Arrived home just after 20.30 so only two hours coming back whereas going took nearly 3 hours. That will be our last visit as it is just too stressful to go.

Hope Saturday has been good for you all whatever you have been up to and sorry I haven't been around to comment on yesterdays blips. Thankyou for the kind comments on my Compassion rose. A Matthew trip out tomorrow. xx Sending hugs~~~~~
