Second Prize

Today we came up to London to celebrate my mum's birthday. She was also exhibiting some of her allotment produce in the Hampstead Garden Suburb Horticultural Show, so after cake and presents, we went off to see how she had done. These are her onions (left) which got second prize. The other ones got first. It was all very funny and good natured, and Mrs Hall ended up with 3 first prizes, 4 seconds, and 2 thirds!

Home for supper and now I am ready for my bed. Night all.
