How much can ONE take?

My lovely mum who is very sick wanted to start the day on a positive note and however feeling still weak decided to take her sister to the market. It wasn't meant to be this way, she slipped one step (the only one) and fell breaking her right ankle. How horrible is this? This woman is already suffering loads, we had PET scan result back, not looking good. It is spreading incredibly quick and everywhere, she has been told other news as well, and however it sounds painful at the moment, it is inevitable and it will happen soon.

The journey has started for all of us.
