Light On The Wires

A lovely morning of sunshine soon vanished with cloud and a few showers and left a cloudy afternoon. The sunshine did return in the evening again :)

Up early and breakfast out the way, in to see my sister Julie and family before off to the hills with Sammy dog. I hiked to the abandoned village of Colvadale on Unst and amazing views but the soaking ground and a shower put an end to that walk in the morning. Went up an old track for a run with the car too but needing a 4x4 to complete that trip :) Back to Julie's for lunch and then off out exploring again.
Mam arrived in the late afternoon with ny niece Elise and we headed out for an evening walk to the Norwick beach.
Might try a few pints tonight down the local with friends :)

On the way to the Norwick beach and the sun returned. With the showers and dew from the morning, the power lines were soaking wet and reflected the sun in an unusual way. Looking at the croft of Mullapund, Northdale.
