What a difference a day makes!
Yesterday's sun turned to rain. Almost none stop all day.
First thing this morning the gardener turned up to mend the fence, and put two new posts in, thinking it would clear up. How wrong he was!
Anyhow he managed to finish the job before lunch. ( with the help of a cup of coffee , a cup of tea, and a piece a fruit cake!)

We have just finished watching Paloma Faith's Late Night Prom.

How fantastic!!! We just loved it! ( High above the back of the orchestra, a spotlight shone on the bust of Sir Henry Wood. I wonder what he would have thought of tonight's performance?!)
