Signs of spring

Nipped out and the first thing I saw was this twig with buds ready to open.

Maybe I can take this as a sign that my life will one day turn around and brighten up again.

I've made lists amid the cups of tea, planning what to do and get in the next couple of months, and worked out that I actually had what it took to cook something resembling a proper meal today - first time in at least 3 weeks I should mention.

I can do this, it'll take a long time, maybe the rest of my life, but I can do it.
