Bird on the bale

The agricultural area where I walk Belle and Jerry is now fields filled with bales ready for lifting. A lot of the birds have used these bales for vantage points to see what is coming and this cheeky little one was definitely keeping its beady eyes peeled for the on coming danger of two noisy, hairy springers. I am not quite sure what kind of bird this is so if anyone knows please let me know :):)
