What did the Romans ever do for us?

Today was a bit of a walk down memory lane. I had great day wondering around Glasgow's Victorian West End and ended up in the Hunterian Museum where they have an amazing Roman exhibit. Well worth a visit.

This is a series of ROman Alters excavated from various sites in Scotland (and I think one of them is inscribed with the name "MARTI")..
