Originally, I had walked up to the field to take a picture of a number of buzzards which were on the ground in the wake of the plough and although I hid behind the cover grown for the pheasants later on, they were suspicious and the result was a blur!

This evening we went to the Last Night of the Proms held at the Octagon Theatre, Yeovil, performed by the British Philharmonic Orchestra in aid of the Yeovil Opportunity Group and the School in the Bag Programme. The latter is in memory of Piers Simon who was killed in the Tsunami and is run by his brother Luke who lives locally. Twenty per cent of the world's children will never attend school and the charity provides each school bag with stationery, learning resources and eating utensils. The bags are sent all over the world.
